Gravity Wax Vape Pen by Kandypens Review
Gravity was released by Kandypens in 2016 after the popular Galaxy vape pen. It is unclear why the company chose to name this device Gravity. This wax vape pen easily stands out from others on the market because it comes with two different atomizers that allow you to control your vaping experience. The device is also designed with variable temperature settings and a stylish appearance. If you are an advanced vaper, this is a perfect wax vape pen to use on your travels. For beginners, this could easily serve as a go-to wax vape pen.
Kandypen’s Gravity vape pen is very easy to use. There is only one button on the device; the firing button. It is the same button that you use to turn the device on/off, change the temperature, and activate the atomizer. Like other vaping devices, you can switch the Gravity on/off by clicking the firing button fives times rapidly. If you press it three times in quick succession, the temperature of the device changes.
Most wax vape pens have only three temperature levels, but Gravity has four temperature levels for you to choose from. There is a LED light at the base of the device that indicates the temperature. You can choose either 300 degrees Fahrenheit (pink color), 350 degrees Fahrenheit (red color), 390 degrees Fahrenheit (green color), and 430 degrees Fahrenheit (blue color). When you turn the device on, the firing button will flash the color that represents the temperature level you have chosen. This Kandypens vaporizer has a 10-second cutoff limit. One of the only complaints that vapers have had about the Gravity vape pen is that it takes a few seconds to prime the coils before you can start vaping.
Gravity is made with a built-in 350mAh battery. While the battery capacity is not so great, it lasts long. You can use this device for more than one day before you will need to charge it. Of course, this depends on how frequent you use the vape pen. You can get up to 100 hits from the device before the battery gets low. It typically takes two hours to charge the Gravity pen. You cannot use the device while it is charging. To charge this Kandypens vape pen, you need to remove the battery section and attach it to the USB charger.
It is fairly easy to take apart the Gravity vape pen and reassemble it when you want to clean it. The device comes with two alcohol wipes for cleaning it. The battery section is connected to the atomizer using 510 threading. The mouthpiece of this wax vape pen has a carb hole which allows for smoother airflow. One of the complaints about the Galaxy vape pen was that the airflow was too restricted. Kandypens maintained the mouth-to-lung design that it uses for its vape pens but found a way to improve the airflow of the Gravity. The tip of the mouthpiece of the device has a nice polished finish.
Gravity by Kandypens comes with two atomizers. You can choose either a dual coil quartz rod atomizer or a ceramic dish. The dual coil quartz rod atomizer is just like the atomizer that comes with Kandyvape’s Donut vape pen. This is the atty to choose if you want maximum airflow. The atomizer has a quartz lined chamber with quartz rods and dual titanium coils. This is a wick-less design, so you will not get any dry hits even at high wattage. If you are a flavor chaser or you want a very smooth vaping experience, you may be better off going for the ceramic dish atomizer. This atty is virtually the same one that came with the Galaxy pen. It is simply a ceramic bowl that functions much like a hot plate. You load up your wax into it and fire away. The ceramic atomizer is designed with SlowBurn technology. It spreads out the heat evenly to ensure that you get the full flavor of your wax.
Kandypens’ Gravity is usually priced at about $129.99 at most vape stores, but you can get it on Ejuice Pack for only $99.99. This is one of the best portable vaporizers that you can find on the market today for concentrates.
